West Midlands Women in Business Association
Meeting the needs of today’s business women

Established in 1990, the West Midlands’ Women in Business Association (wiba) is one of the premier business women’s associations in the Midlands.

It offers an opportunity for business women, managers and entrepreneurs in Birmingham and the surrounding area to network, develop business skills, learn new ideas and share knowledge with one another and leading businesses in the West Midlands

Wiba has been recognised as a professional voice for businesswomen and featured on BBC Radio 4 and 5 and consulted with Government Departments on policies and issues affecting women at work.

Current Chair, Lucy Caddick, Director of Finance and operations, Elmhurst Ballet School said:

"I am delighted to have been elected as Chair of WiBA for a second time, having previously served as Chair from 2013-2015.  I am passionate about creating development opportunities for women in business and am proud of wiba’s role in promoting women in the West Midlands over the past 28 years.

The association engenders loyalty across business sectors in the region,  retaining longstanding members and attracting new ones - testament to its support.

We offer a vibrant, friendly, supportive and professional network for women at all career and life stages. We use social media including Twitter, Facebook, Linked In and Eventbrite to update people on events and developments affecting women in business and offer real  value for money. We look forward to welcoming women to our events, whether new, former or longstanding loyal members..
